Delivery Services:

Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress delivery services include Australia Post, Border Express, Courier’s Please, CTI, Mainfreight, StarTrack, Aramex, Direct Freight, Toll, internal courier, and other courier services at our discretion. The courier selected by the customer at checkout may not be the courier chosen to deliver the customer’s purchase. In cases where our standard list of couriers does not deliver to the customer’s location, Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress will engage an alternate service that delivers to the customer’s area. Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress use the Freight Exchange platform and other courier service direct portals. All orders are shipped with ATL (Authority to Leave) using our choice of post, courier, or internal courier. Where an order cannot be delivered to a PO Box address, the customer will provide a physical address. Please note that rural customers may be required to collect their order from a local depot. All delivery services offered by Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress are for addresses in Australia only.

Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress will not be responsible for any deliveries where a customer has given a false or incorrect address. Any redirections will be at the customer’s expense. Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress reserve the right to change or alter any or all information contained in this policy at any time.

Local Pick Up (Click and Collect)

Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress offers local pick up. Orders received where Local Pick Up has been chosen must wait for orders to be packed and the customer notified by email prior to collecting from our store. The customer must present their order confirmation and photo identification with all local pick-up orders. Customers who require a representative to collect an order on their behalf must advise Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress prior to pick up and their representative must provide photo identification. Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress reserves the right to record identification details such as full name, phone number, address at their discretion for the purpose of protecting themselves from a threat that may compromise the security of our business at our own discretion. Local Pick Up is available at our location, Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress, 295 Warton Road, Canning Vale, Western Australia, 6155 during the hours of Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 5.30pm, Saturday from 9.00am – 5.00pm and Sunday from 10.00am – 3.00pm. Public Holidays by arrangement.

Flat Rate Shipping: 

We offer a standardised shipping option for eligible orders, subject to a delivery fee of:

$19.90 for WA residents

$24.90 for SA, VIC, NSW, NT and TAS residents.

The flat rate shipping fees may change at any time at our own discretion and any new pricing will be reflected on our website.

Please note that this rate does not apply to orders that meet any of the following conditions:

  • Total order length, width or height exceeds 1 metre.
  • Cubic weight exceeds 50kg.
  • The total order requires palletisation.

Express Shipping:

Customers may choose Express Shipping at their own discretion. Where goods are sent through Australia Post, once orders have left our premises, Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress is not responsible for the delivery times and customers are advised to check their tracking and refer to the Australia Post website for more information on Express Shipping.

Bulky Orders Shipping:

A bulky item is any order where:

The total order length, width or height is greater than 1.2 metres and/or;

The cubic weight exceeds 50kg and/or;

The total order requires palletisation.

Where an order is classified as bulky, the customer will be able to have a quote for shipping. Shipping quotes may take 2-3 business days. Once a quote has been obtained, the customer will receive a notification and be able to refresh shopping cart order totals to get the newly quoted shipping price. The customer can choose to accept or cancel the order if they do not wish to pay the quoted shipping price.

In some cases, it is more cost effective to delivery a bulky order to a customer’s local freight yard. Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress will liaise with the customer in this event.

All bulky orders will require a physical delivery address, not a PO Box address.

Free Shipping:

We offer free shipping for orders exceeding a total value of $299.90 that do not exceed the flat rate conditions.

Live Rate Shipping:

We offer live-rate shipping options at checkout. These options are available on all orders that do not meet the Bulky Order Shipping conditions.  In some cases, the live rate may be cheaper than the flat rate for orders that qualify. Customers can opt for the cheaper option at checkout at their discretion.

Dangerous Goods:

Some of our products are considered “Dangerous Goods” and will only be available for WA residents to pick up in-store. Customer wishing to have dangerous goods shipped can request a shipping price by contacting the store on and a shipping quote will include any surcharges passed along by the courier company to ship dangerous goods if available for shipping.

Same Day Shipping:

All stocked items purchased online before 11am WST excluding bulky orders will be booked for dispatch on the same day during standard business days, exclusive of weekends, public holidays, and other unforeseen circumstances. Customers will receive tracking information for their purchase when freight has been booked.

Damage to Products During Shipping

In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, partly damaged, or missing items, please contact our store immediately during business hours. Claims must be lodged within 7 days of receiving your order for claims to be processed.

Order Tracking

Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress dispatches all orders with a tracking number that will be emailed to the customer where the customer has provided a correct email address. All orders are shipped with ATL (Authority to Leave). If your order has not arrived, please check your tracking number before contacting our store. If your order is marked as delivered, you can request a POD (Proof of Delivery) from the courier company directly. If the package has been delivered and the customer cannot locate it, Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress are not able to offer compensation for the loss of your order. The customer is advised to check with others residing at the premises and neighbours.

Return to Sender Policy

If your order could not be delivered and is returned to Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress, we will contact you via email or phone. You will have two weeks to claim your order before it is cancelled. If the order is to be re-shipped it will be at the cost of the customer, even if it qualified for free shipping in the first instance. Cancelled orders will have a credit applied to the customer account where stock arrives back to Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress and is a normal stock item, not including shipping costs. Where the order contains part or all special order a credit will only be applied to the customer account for normal stock items. Special orders are not eligible for refund or credit. A 10% re-stocking fee applies to all returned normal stock items that are not faulty or covered under warranty. If the return to sender is due to the fault of Aquaponics WA and Hydroponic Xpress, these terms do not apply.
