Making herb butter was once complicated and messy, now made easy with the Magical Butter Machine. Put in the ingedients, turn on machine, set time and walk away. EASY! Combining an immersion blender with a precise heating unit, the MagicalButter machine allows you to make fantastic culinary creations. Infuse butter, oils, tinctures and more to make soups, sauces, dressings, or even topical & salves all in one unit!
7-14 grams of botanicals per cup*
2-5 cups/475 mL-1.18 L of unsalted butter
(Do not use margarine, it will not work)
1 tablespoon/15 mL of sunflower lecithin**
DO NOT ADD WATER!!!
Place the ingredients into your MB machine.*
Select the "Temperature" button and set at 160ºF/71ºC.
Press the "2 Hours/Butter" button.
After the cycle is complete, unplug at wall socket, remove head of appliance, put on your LoveGlove
and pour slowly through the PurifyFilter into a storage container.

What’s the best type of butter to use when making cannabutter?
The best butter for making cannabutter is one free of milk fat, like clarified butter or ghee butter. You can buy these butter varieties at your specialist grocery store, or graocery Indian store, or Amazon, but you can also make them at home. It’s a few extra steps but it makes a big difference in your final taste, for texture and consistency. For optimal extractions and maximum potency, based on extensive kitchen trials, our chef now recommends clarifying your butter before adding it to the pitcher of your machine. To clarify, gently melt and simmer the butter on low heat, and scrape off and discard the milk solids and foam that comes to the surface. Thus retaining the clear golden liquified butterfat!
Ghee is Indian clarified butter. ... Since the butter is cooked longer, ghee is also more golden in color. But like clarified butter, ghee does not contain milk solids and is pure butterfat. Once the milk solids caramelize lightly, the next step is the strain it, as you did with the clarified butter.
Don’t have time to clarify? You can also skip clarifying and simply use melted or softened butter. Either way, you want to be sure you DO NOT use cold, firm butter, whether clarified or not.
How to store your cannabutter
How long does it last in the refrigerator or freezer? As with most homemade edibles, they have a shelf life that can be increased by storing them in the freezer, with an air tight lids and in a tinted container.
