1kg Pre-Sterilized Millet, ready to be inoculated with your own mushroom culture (culture not included)

Make your own grain spawn from a Spore Solution, Liquid Culture or Agar. Your bag comes ready to inoculate.
We manufacture our bags fresh every week using a poly bag with a .2 micron filter to ensure the bag stays sterile.
All the hard work has been done for you, grains are soaked, simmered, dried to field capacity, bagged and sterilized at 15PSI in our autoclave and sealed.

We use 1kg as we find it a handy amount for home growers and small farmers, instead of opening a large grain spawn bag, using a little bit, and closing for later use risking contamination at each opening! We prefer to manufacture our spawn in maximum 1kg, but if your require larger amounts, contact us and this ban be arranged!

FYI, 1kg of wheat grain spawn = around 10 cups of loose seeds. It’s ideal for beginners using cold pasteurization, making a batch of 10 mushroom blocks!
Advanced mushroom growers, can use as littler as 5% of spawn rate to inoculate sterilized substrates.

We recommend inoculating your bag inside a still airbox or in front of a flow hood.

When the bag arrives, unbox right away and keep somewhere cool and dry. (not inside something as the filter must be kept dry or it wont work, if there’s no airflow the material will wet the filter). We recommend waiting 1 week to ensure nothings contaminated the bag during shipping.
If so please send a photo within 2 weeks of it arriving (unopened) and we will replace it, if anything happened during transit it will show up within a week after the 1 week you know your bags 100% clean and ok to use as our bags are perfectly sterile you only need 1-2 tablespoons of spawn if done in a clean enough environment
Incubate at 20 deg once inoculated, until fully colonized.

Please note once the bag has been opened your on your own, if not done in a clean enough space it will contaminate and we cant offer any warranties for your work.
