HOW IT WORKS
The Oxypot is a deep water culture method of growing, which means the roots are constantly submerged in highly oxygenated water. There's no timer to manage and you're never at risk of water logging or the plants drying out. The air pump constantly oxygenates the solution, meaning the roots have 24/7 access to super-oxygenated water and nutrients.

There's no separate water butt, meaning you can make the most of your floor space. There's also no risk of contamination through the sharing of nutrient solution.

Oxypot DWC Systems are very simple to use - just keep the root tank topped-up with the nutrient solution. This enables the roots to draw food and oxygen from the highly aerated solution.

GROWERS TIPS

• Use the mesh pots for propagating - Once root growth is sufficient and the plant has hardened off, you can then transplant straight into the Oxypot.
• Veg lids available - Oxypot XL and Oxypot 4 have veg lids available, this allows you to combine more plants in a smaller space during the veg period.
• Reversible lid - Allows younger plants better access to nutrient solution. Use the reversible lid to lower plants with smaller roots deeper into the nutrient solution, then as the roots grow out of the mesh pot the lid can be reversed.*Does not apply to the single 19L
• Regularly check pH and EC
• Leave your water standing for 24 hours before adding nutrients

Hints and Tips
Pump - leave the pump on 24/7 - the plant’s roots need constant access to nutrient solution and oxygen

Transplanting - young plants started in 1" rockwool cubes, root riots or jiffy’s can be transplanted into an Oxypot, they must be root bound before they go into the system

Plants under lights will take up water at a greater rate than they take up nutrient. Over time the EC of the solution will rise. Top up the pot with half strength nutrient solution, check EC and add extra nutrient if required. Then adjust pH level and perform a complete solution change every 2-3 weeks, depending plant size, water quality and hardness.
