Anti-Jam/ Anti-Burnout/ Run Stop Features: The pump will go into a low current draw state (1 -3 watts to reduce heat generation) to avoid burn-out if the impeller becomes jammed or if there is no longer water going through the unit. It will remain in this safety mode for 5 minutes. If the jam is not dislodged or the pump is not put back in water, it will shut down to avoid burning out. To reset the pump after this has happened, it needs to be turned off at the GPO (power outlet) and left off for 1 minute to reset. As an example, if a PV Pump got jammed or runs out of water it will burnt-out which is not a warrantable event.

Soft Start: This is a great feature that saves the life of the impeller, doesn’t have the risks of pipe-hammering which can loosen fittings/ tubing, resulting in the pond/ water feature been drained and avoids spurts of water been shot out the outlet when initially turned on. They turn on and come to life gently. 

Low Wattages: The EVO pumps have some of the lowest wattage ratings on the market today. This makes a big difference to a power bill over time. eg: Below over the life of the pump (Min 3 years as per warranty) the savings will be huge. These savings pay for the pump plus some. 

Marine/ Saltwater Capable
